It’s true. Vapiano’s unbelievably yummy range of cheeses are all made by Vannella Cheese in Milla Milla in Far North Queensland, including our buffalo mozzarella which is made by hand from pure buffalo milk.
The Vannella Cheese Factory first started in Caseificio Vannella in South-East Italy. In 2004 the owners wanted to move to Australia for the lifestyle but didn’t want to give up what they loved – making cheese. So they re-established in Australia and whaddya know? They are now recognised as a leader in Buffalo Cheese Production of the Southern Hemisphere. Now that’s a true Italian-Australian success story!
